About Me - Why Zennip
Human to human, with respect — because people are the driving force behind every company’s success.
I have always seen people as individuals, each with their own unique skills, perspectives, and potential. Every professional is more than a job title or a set of skills — they are unique, fascinating individuals whose personalities matter just as much as their expertise. A truly good work environment values people for who they are, and in turn, companies thrive when their people are motivated, engaged, and fulfilled.
My approach follows the human-to-human principle. One of the greatest rewards is seeing people succeed in their work and grow in their careers — knowing that the right connection helped make it possible. That is one of the reasons why I founded ZennIP.
Zennip was born from a belief that matching people and companies is not just about filling roles, but about understanding what drives and motivates individuals, recognising their strengths, and creating environments where those strengths can shine. The human side of work — empathy, creativity, adaptability — is becoming ever more important, especially as technology and AI reshape how we work. Valuing these qualities, and building workplaces that nurture them, will define truly successful businesses in the future.
My motivation is simple: connecting opportunities through IPR — helping businesses find the right people, and helping people find the right places, while leveraging my expertise in intellectual property to protect and empower innovation.
My Professional Side – 20+ Years of IPR Expertise, Global Perspective & a Human Approach — There’s Always a Way
I am an accomplished intellectual property professional with extensive experience managing global trademark and patent portfolios and aligning IPR strategies with diverse business goals. I have successfully onboarded clients, established business operations, developed efficient core processes, and trained teams to support sustainable growth.
With over 20 years of experience as an IPR Specialist, I bring a solid understanding of the field — while continuing to learn every day. My career has taken me through roles at the Finnish Patent Office, the European Patent Office, industry, and private IPR law firms. This diverse background has given me the opportunity to work with companies of all sizes — from start-ups to large industrial corporations — and to see firsthand how different organisations approach intellectual property.
Through this journey, I have gained valuable insight from companies, law firms, and authorities alike. Having seen all sides, I understand not only their different perspectives but also how they communicate and interact — enabling me to bridge them effectively and create real value for my clients. I have worked across nearly every area of IPR, with a primary focus on patents and trademarks.
What drives me is seeing how IPR can truly help companies. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a client succeed, knowing they received exactly the support they needed.
Nine years in The Hague and London have strengthened my cultural adaptability and global mindset.
My approach is solution-oriented, guided by Lean principles and continuous improvement. I am passionate about mentoring, optimising processes, and finding smarter ways of working. Above all, I am committed to responsible business practices that prioritise employee wellbeing and build long-term, trust-based client relationships.
