I am an independent intellectual property professional with more than 20 years of experience helping businesses understand, protect and manage intellectual property in practical ways.
My background includes the Finnish Patent Office, the European Patent Office, private IP practice, industry, startups and international IP environments. I have worked with organisations of different sizes, technologies and business models, always with the same aim: to make intellectual property serve real business objectives.

I have always believed that intellectual property is not only about patents, trademarks or processes. It is about people, about collaboration, shared goals and the trust that develops when people work well together.
Speaking about my own strengths has never come naturally to me. I have always preferred letting my work speak for itself. If there is one thing I value most, it is the trust that colleagues and clients have placed in me over the years, not only as a professional, but as someone they can rely on.
